The Lawton Community Theatre will hold auditions for "The Sound of Music" on Monday and Tuesday, August 6 and 7 at 7pm.
A large cast of adults, as well as seven children age 7 - 17, are needed for the show directed by Cynthia Kent. Choreographer is Dr. James Brock and Music Director is Linda Chapman. Rehearsals will start August 13 and are expected to be run Monday through Friday, 7PM to 10pm. Performances are October 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 2012.
ATTENTION AUDITIONERS
- Auditions start at 7:00 PM. Please arrive early to complete an audition form.
- You must have a prepared song. Accompaniment will be provided, bring sheet music; or you may bring your own accompaniment cd.
- You may not sing acapella or with a vocal track.
- Wear shoes appropriate for dance. You will not be allowed onstage in sandals, clogs or flip-flops.
- Please bring your calendars with you and be prepared to list any conflicts you may have with the rehearsal schedule.

The Greater Lawton Rotary Club is a part of District 5770.
Our history goes back to 1918 with the combined history of the Lawton Rotary Club and the Lawton West Rotary Club. In 2008 both clubs got together and combined to create The Greater Lawton Rotary Club of Lawton. The merger of our two former clubs has been fantastic!
