Come and enjoy lunch and a style show with the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary. The theme is "It's a Spring Thing." The luncheopn will feature ladies' fashions from Dillards, Swarovski's crystal jewlery from Impression Arts and Gifts, and home decor from Brass Acorn.

The fifth annual Scissortail Creative Writing Festival is April 1 - 3 [2010] on the campus of East Central University. This event is free and open to the public. In addition to the two featured authors, Joy Harjo and Jim Barnes, the festival will showcase an additional fifty regional and emerging authors including Tim Tingle, Larry Thomas, LeAnn Howe and James Hoggard.
The Creative Writing Festival is from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Each day is broken into several sessions.
