[All day event] Operation Christmas Child National Collection Week
- Description:
- Impact a child's life with a simple shoe box gift. Fill a shoe box with school supplies, toys, necessity items and a note of encouragement for a child overseas suffering due to disaster, disease, war, terrorism, famine or poverty. This year, Operation Christmas Child expects to reach a milestone with more than 100 million children receiving shoe box gifts since the project began in 1993.
National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child is November 12-19. There are collection sites around the Lawton area. To find a location near you, visit www.samaritanspurse.org/occ.
