The Trail of Fear Scream Park, Oklahoma's Largest Haunted Attraction is back....bigger and better than ever before for our 15th year of TERROR! Located in Lawton, the Trail of Fear began as a single attraction in 1998 with a small tent and outdoor maze. Today the Trail of Fear is the largest haunted attraction in Oklahoma and is growing to be one of the top haunted attractions in the United States. The Trail of Fear consists of 4 main attractions. Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park Reviews ALL NEW FOR 2012! The Experiment: a self guided tour of the excavation sites, trails, and facilities that were once operated by Dr. Michael Kultra and his team of researchers. In 1946 he began an experiment based on his archeological discoveries and heinous surgical practices. Something went wrong…very wrong. Crispy Family Carnival: A Sideshow Revue combines the style of the classic era side shows with modern day edginess and finesse and features the best performers and attractions from the best shows from around the world! The Trail of Fear Halloween Midway: includes Live Zombie Target Practice, Coffin Maker, Witches House, and much more…. Boo House BBQ: featuring delicious smoked BBQ dishes as well as mouth-watering hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, nachos, and MUCH more..... The Trail of Fear Apothescary: features all sorts of souvenirs including T-Shirts, various glow in the dark items, jewelry, and other things that might make your skin crawl! The Pumpkin Junction: October 19-20, and 26-27 only Trick or Treat, listen to Halloween Stories, and see some magic! A wonderful event for entire families is back at the Trail of Fear.

Fourth Annual Petrolia Festival and Motorcycle Fun Run
Description:
Mark your Calendar for Saturday, October 20th, 2012!! You don’t want to miss the Fourth Annual Petrolia Festival and Motorcycle Fun Run. The Festival will take place from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and is FREE to the public. You can enjoy live music, food, a bake sale, silent auction, 50/50 auction, and shopping at the vendors. The Clay County Hospital will provide free blood pressure screenings from 10:00 until 1:00 and the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a horseshoe pitch tournament. Also, there will be a lot of activities for the kids, including a bounce house, 40’Slide and many more attractions! Motorcycle riders start your engines and take a Fun Run through Clay County. The ride will begin and end in Petrolia during our Festival. It will be a 100 mile ride. The ride will begin at 11:00 am. The entry fee includes a FREE T-shirt for All riders, free snacks and drinks at the rest stops and a brisket sandwich meal deal at the end of the ride, plus raffle prize drawings. Late registration fee $30 single rider and $45 for doubles. The motorcycle chapter with the most bikers (over 25) riding in the Petrolia Fun Run will receive a $250 Donation to their charity. Description:
Howl-O-Ween activities include pumpkin painting & seasonal crafts in Cub Club; meet and greet with the Great Wolf Kids characters, dressed in their Halloween costumes; fun-filled, spooky costume parade and the chance to collect candy and other goodies along the super sweet Trick-or-Treat Trail throughout the resort. As the moon rises, families to snuggle together for the evening no-so-scary Spooktacular Story Time in the Grand Lobby and then bring their coolest moves to Monster Bash Dance Party (Fridays and Saturdays).

The Chisholm Trail Ram PRCA Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo will be making a stop in Duncan at the Stephens County fairgrounds on October 18, 19 and 20th. The rodeo starts at 6:30 nightly and there will be a concert on Friday night featuring Jason Boland and The Stragglers and on Saturday night featuring No Justice. Friends of Waurika Public Library, Inc. is gearing up for its first ever Fall Book Sale. The Book Sale will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Rock Island Depot, 105 S. Meridian St., Waurika, Okla. The event will kick off at 9 a.m. and last through 4 p.m. Not only will you find a variety of books, there will also be light refreshments, a number of unique vendors and a chance to win a FREE Kindle Fire! All proceeds will go to the Friends of Waurika Public Library, Inc. and in turn, provide needed resources for the library and everyone in our community it serves.
