- The town of Geronimo is planning its annual birthday celebration for September 14th and 15th.
As usual the festivities will begin with a parade and end with a street dance and fireworks.

Janann, a young girl from a dysfunctional family, discovers the importance of having someone to care for and someone to care for her.
The author of this Oklahoma-based script is Dallas playwright Vicki Caroline Cheatwood, who was born and raised in Lawton-Ft. Sil and has strong ties to the area. "Manicures& Monuments" is directed by Jack Hunsucker.

Western Fall Fest kicks off Thursday when the Heritage Longhorn Herd is driven up the ol' Chisholm Trail from the Bray area to the outskirts of Duncan. A special press event and cowboy meet and greet will take place that night at 7:00pm. (580) 252-6692

Stay until after 5:00pm, for the Chuckwagon Dinner and Wine Tastings, followed by a FREE concert Church of the Western Swing (COWS) band at 7:00pm at the On the Trail Monument.
Roving historical characters will re-enact parts of Oklahoma history during the day on Friday and Saturday. Duncan Little Theatre actors will bring these characters to life like a reality show from the past.

The Herd arrives at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center at 9:00 am to moooove into the Western Spirit Celebration. All day long participate in family activities inside and outside the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center. FREE children’s area, stock dog runs, mule jumping, cowboy and chuckwagon demonstrations, and lots and lots of FREE music and fun!
Duncan AMBUCS presents the 5th Annual Wine'N on the Chisholm Trail featuring the following Oklahoma wineries: The Range Winery from Anadarko, Oak Hills Winery from Chelsea, Woods and Waters Winery from Anadarko, Native Spirits from Norman and Stable Ridge Winery from Stroud.
