[All day event] Ft. Sill old time base ball game
- Description:
- The Fort Sill National Historic Landmark and Museum will once again conduct a special presentation of 19th century base ball (old spelling) on the original playing field July 14.
This educational program is free and open to the public.
The event is straight from the history of this frontier Army post where the first organized base ball games were played in what is now Oklahoma.
The day will begin with firing demonstrations at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon on the Post Quadrangle.
The base ball game will begin at 1 p.m.

[9:00am] Back to School Bash
- Description:
- The Back to School Bash provides back packs and school supplies to students and provides families with information from community service organizations and faith based institutions to help prepare students and promote a positive attitude in students fro the upcoming school year. In addition to back packs and information, the Bash provides food, clothing and a day of fun for the family. The event is truly the result of community support.
The events will take place on July 14th at the Sheridan Road Wal-Mart and on August 4th at the Quanah parker Wal-Mart form 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
You can bring any supplies which kids might need for the upcoming school year.

- Every second Saturday of the month; the Greater Lawton Rotary Club takes time to share theme based Arts & Craft projects with the Youth In Lawton's Central Mall. Stop by and have the kids participate in a fun filled and creative activity; while learning about community service.

[8:00pm] 2012 Ram Rodeo Series

- The Ram Truck brand and the 2012 Ram Rodeo Series is making a pit stop at the Coyote Hills Arena on July 13th and July 14th. The Rodeo will begin at 8:00 p.m. each night. Rodeo fans are invited to come down and saddle up with the cowboys to enjoy the legendary sport of rodeo and check out the newest Ram pickup trucks. If you’re looking for the excitement of a bucking horse or the dependability of horsepower that will last for years, the Ram Truck brand is ready for you. All fans who visit the Ram Rodeo Trailer/Tent will be eligible to enter the Ram Rodeo Sweepstakes, a national giveaway for a chance to win $45,000 toward any eligible Chrysler Group vehicle.
