The Fort Sill Apache Casino will host a 2-day relief effort for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Titled “48 Hours for Haiti,” the event will take place on Wednesday Jan. 20 and Thursday Jan. 21, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. both days.
The Fort Sill Apache casino will match all cash donations up to a maximum of $10,000. The event will benefit the American Red Cross. Checks can be made payable to: American Red Cross International Response Fund, and checks or cash donations can be made on site at the casino.
Fort Sill Apache Casino is located at 2315 East Gore Blvd. Lawton, OK. All supporters who attend will also be able to text the word “Haiti” to 90999; this will be a $10 donation and will appear on the donor’s cell phone bill.
